Positive words from the people we serve

“We have been using the employment health services offered by Carroll Occupational Health for many years. I believe that having a local occupational health provider that offers the number and level of services that Carroll Occupational Health makes available to us is an invaluable asset. They provide excellent, expedient, and efficient care to our injured employees, and the staff is very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly.”

“Carroll Occupational Health has provided us with professional medical assistance for more than nine years, including but not limited to annual physicals, fit for duty, return to work, and substance screening for both pre and post situations. Over the years, they have assisted us with establishing standards for medical examination. Additionally, they have provided us with several recommendations to assist with creating modified duties for various positions that we have adopted. Their staff is always friendly, courteous, and prompt with scheduling appointments and returning calls. We are very satisfied with the partnership that we have developed with COH.”

“I had a recent job-related physical therapy need. It was initially thought that Carroll Occupational Health may not have been on the county’s approved PT provider list. I was quite disappointed, and was happy to find that wasn’t the case. A few years ago, I received an on-the-job injury and COH, to be specific, employee Janelle Chockla, were exceptional in getting me healed and back to work quickly.

Upon arrival, for my newly-made back injury, I again found all staff professional and helpful. Once I realized that Janelle was still the PT doctor, I was very happy. Janelle has a genuine concern and empathy for all the patients she serves. She is more knowledgable than many other PT doctors that either myself or my family have ever had in the past.

It was difficult to find my problem this time, and it had lingered on a bit which worried me. Again, she tried a different approach, thus solving the problem.

In a world where many people just want to complain and appreciation is hard to come by, I wanted to make sure that she was recognized for her service. For an employee to be constantly motivated after years of service is exceptional, and an asset to your company and the people it serves.”
